“Rejoice”, Pt 2

So yeah, we’re not done. I painted the flowers yellow and didn’t take into account that there was green underneath which turned my pale yellow flowers into neon yellow flowers. I was not happy and despaired of finishing the commission (melodramatic much? Haha). But I slept on it and the next day decided to repaint over the flowers with a lighter yellow in the hopes it would subdue the neon-ness a bit (it did) and then I brightened the other yellow patches. I love love love the result, all is well in Becca’s world and the commission is aaaaalmost finished. Kerry decided that he should add two more trees because SYMBOLISM. I’ll share our completely-done-not-allowed-to-think-of-anything-else painting when we’re done drawing and inking that in.
