August Goals: 2016 Edition

I’m … excited about this month. I’ve been working extremely hard on all my selling platforms, I’m seeing results … Christmas may actually be really profitable. And Christmas starts now, in case you were wondering. The receiving rooms of stores across the country are packed to the brim with new products, online retailers are getting ready for the shopping smorgasbord, yeah. So.

Etsy

15-20 sales, and let’s say $300-400 in revenue. It’s possible, I’ve had months like that, so we’re going for it.

Blog

I’ve got two blogs now-the one here and the one attached to my shopify-powered store. I want to create visually stunning, content-rich posts. Don’t we all, right?

Art Fairs

So I really have no idea how I’ll do at this fair on August 13th. I’m hoping to recoup my entry fee-$100-but I’m bringing $6-7k worth of products, so I could sell more. Or less, because you never know. I just don’t want to fall flat on my face. So let’s say I’m hoping to make anywhere from $100-500. Seems reasonable.

Amazon

I’ve got my Christmas products up, and I’m adding a few listings every week, so I’d like to get another sale from that platform. I’m not going to promote it on my social media sites, because I already am promoting my other selling platforms, so other than adding more listings I’m not sure what to do about it.

Sales

I had a custom order request already this month, but my current practice is to skip any sort of commission fee if I feel that I can resell the idea. So I created this “metal” card, but no extra monies. I’m not sure I could handle another request, given that I have my art fair. Mebbe next month.

Misc.

We’re slowly packing and getting ready for our September move. After my art fair I really do need to take a step back and concentrate on being ready for closing down the apartment and making the house extraordinary.

So how about you? What are your goals for this month-I’d love to hear!

And as always, Art On, my friends!
